Advertising Photography for Australian Software Company Intelematics

We photographed a series of images for Intelematics in 2015 on location of cars using their in car software and mobile app. This year we were commissioned to capture images to be used in a worldwide campaign. The only catch was we were only given a few days to complete the entire project that included pre production location scouts, concepts, photography & retouching.

We spent 1/2 a day in the studio photographing a few images of the mobile apps in use with simple styling & props. A full day was spent at the Intelematics Melbourne head quarters photographing staff members.

Ivan was contacted by Trifon Estate Wines, a Central Victoria Winery that exports a lot of wine to the Asian market. They needed an experienced wine bottle Photographer who could capture gold and silver foil on their labels in camera with minimal or no digital retouching.

In 2011, Mornington Peninsula based wine maker Michael Telera began leasing a vineyard in Red Hill formally known part of Mike & Lew’s Folly to produce  the Telera Brand.

Telera Wines required images for their 3 wines Pernella Fume & Itana Fume Sauvignon Blanc and Su Mar Pinot Noir. The 3 set ups took 1/2 a day to set up & photograph. Sets and props were sourced and painted before the photo shoot.

Great wine bottle photography is an important part of marketing and creating a look for any winery. IJ Productions was commissioned by Mornington Peninsula Winery Quealy because of our expertise in product photography and having produced exceptional images for other wineries in Australia.

 

Quealy Winemaker Kathleen wanted a series of new images for their new website, She wanted images that were dark and moody but still show the label. Lighting was the key to getting the mood right, a single light source with a soft gradient. We had tried a few different set-ups including a simple grey plinth for the single bottles  but in the end we decided on painted grey wooden panels for the flooring.

In the end we had photographed 24 individual bottles and 9 group photos.
