About Principal Photographer Ivan Lee

I’m Ivan Lee, a Melbourne-based commercial photographer with more than 25 years of professional experience across advertising, commercial, corporate and product photography.

Over the years, I’ve developed a particular expertise in technical lighting, using light to control how a product, person or environment looks on camera. Whether it’s a highly reflective product, a corporate portrait or a complex commercial setup, I enjoy solving the lighting challenges that come with creating a great image.

My approach is practical and hands-on. Good photography starts with understanding the brief, working out what needs to be achieved and then building the right lighting and production around it. The aim is always to get as much right in camera as possible, reducing the need for heavy post-production.

I’ve worked with businesses, agencies and brands across a wide range of industries, from product and advertising campaigns to corporate portraits, industrial photography and content creation. My experience also extends to the production side of photography, including location scouting, set building, styling and post-production.
